went out this am. was late getting up so i was late getting there. Water was frozen alittle thicker then i expected but broke a hole anyway. saw one woody skirt the decoys as i was knocking the ice off of my shells. Hopefully the hole stays open and can gun it again tomarrow mornin..on time. ....drove around after i left and found some geese. a little tip, when its cold like this ive noticed the geese will go to grass/Winter Wheat before they go to corn/beans. thats where they were today, all on grass.
Theres always someone out there thats better then you. I'm that guy.

floated out to the Murderkill today on the NB end and got the skunk. Had a few blacks thinking about pitching but that was about it. Alot of what looked to be ringnecks flying high and never even paid atention to us. Didnt see one canadian, snows as usual but thats about it.

hunted in the pit today, and saw MABYE 100 Canada's. Normal amount of snows. was a little dumbfounded with the low geese numbers i saw today especially in the location i was at...weird..

Huted the missipillion today, mostly everything I saw was black ducks, all on the private stuff. No attention paid to the decoys. Not many cans at all or snogs. The snogs I saw were coming from south of slaughter beach.

I was at work wishin I was in the blind when that mess was fallin'. I only get to hunt sunny clear days it seems like. I went to North Bowers today and saw maybe 10 ducks. Went to the other end in frederica this afternoon up the Doo Doo plant ditch and jumped about a doz. cans and 4 mallards, nevr came back and that was all we saw except for the hoodies that came by and I'm not so sure they count.
