I was deffinatley on the X this morning. Had ducks circling all morning. Problem was I was all by myself so I just picked out 4 greenheads. Nothing but mallards, of course until I was picking up and a black duck lands 15 yards away when I was without my gun, but it was a good shoot. Limited out on mallards by 8:30 all back stroking in the dekes.

PS. how do you post a picture?

how did everyone else do?

Four geese, one band, very few ducks seen.

I went to greenbottom in Huntington, WV and seen a good number of birds but they were all high. I had two greenwings set in and I took the drake only shot I had all morning. Does anyone know any spots around charleston or Huntington area that might have some birds? I just moved back home from Myrtle beach, SC and have no idea where to start here.

Think you are on the $$$, just need the right weather. Check some of the WMA's out, Summersville, Burnsville and SW jackson lakes for options.

Woodie,

Thinking bout a trip to Stonewall, might have time this week but I don't have time to scout before hand for the morning. Figured I would just based on satellite images for the morning, scout midday and then find a place to setup for the afternoon. Never been there and I don't want to post up on someone spot. Is it pretty wide open, lot of fellas hunt there?
