Really who gives a crap??? People do way worse things than shoot at a duck at 70 yards. Thats actaully a killable range with some of the loads today. People shoot turkey at that range all the time and people shoot elk at 1000 yards all the time (check youtube). All I'm saying is its a duck. I know this guy and let me tell you, if he had crippled that bird I guarantee that he would have been out there in his boat biting its head withing 2 minutes. So everyone back off I'm sure you've done more stupid things in life.

I saw quite a few today. Saw more close ones before 8 a.m. than I've seen all season. Unfortunately, they just wouldn't commit. Had four groups circle the spread repeatedly but they just wouldn't do it. Had a couple of singles do the same. I need to shoot something dammit!

I've been Watching the weather and it looks like its going to be getting a little colder.... I'm with rank duck, I need something to shoot!!!

Yep , me too. I was at brackley today and saw some ducks land on the far bank. I figured what the heck i need some ducks so I blasted three at them . I usually let them swim a little closer but I was bored and just needed somethin to shoot. :grooving:

I hunted lake barckley yesterday but never found any of the ducks we shot. the shots were really long but I said to heck with it too. Sometimes you just gotta shoot!
