Man you guys should see the amount of water going by my house (lower end of Carson River) This could be another one of those years for the sinks. Last 2 times were around 1986 and 1992? Looks like about 1500 CFS and for us that is a lot of water, Usually the water is all diverted, not this year!!!!
What part of "shall not be infringed" dont you understand?

that is good news for all of us! last time I hunted the sinks was 1983 or 84, I cant remember but the water destroyed the marshes and the sink was great. If I remember right Indian lakes was good also.
I cant remember the last time Lahaunton had this much water right befor spring runoff, hope they can handle it.

Ain't it grand !! I just wounder if it will be like the old days when
there was water from Stillwater all the way up to Toulon !!
Can you just think of all the birds that will come & stay for a while ,
instead of just going south for a better area to feed & rest !!
Not to put a damper on things, but it would be just our luck to have
lots of water, and have the F&G put a reduced limit on the birds
due to a bad "nesting" year.....
Sorry I said that, but it seems that the Nev Dept has always messed up our hunt one way or the other....
Note: did you see where they are thinking of stopping commercial
salmon fishing this year ?
