lost boat

Postby alanwebfoot » Sun Jan 08, 2012 7:44 am

just a heads up my 16' semi v hull broke loose from the rope and drifted off. It was OK during all the high water but when the river went down the bolt came loose from the stern. It has a plywood bench seat right down the middle, the front is decked over with a hinge on one side and there is a new bilge pump and good marine battery in it .I have the title.

3 years ago on a turkey hunt my buddy lost his boat ,,from just across the river from me.It was a no rain clear day BUT it dumped up north,,so a couple hours into the hunt he decided to go check out his boat ,,you guessed it GONE,,a 17' ranger with a 35 hp mud motor,,YIKES!!! the same guy that found mine found his floating by .We were walking the bank when he shouted ''There it is''.The guy lives almost on waters edge,,so not much goes down stream without him seeing it.
