February is the longest month

Postby sarjrr » Thu Feb 02, 2012 9:02 am

I know February is the shortest month in terms of nuumber of days, but it drags on FOREVER. Yesterday I find myself driving around checking ponds and river spots for ducks, and then it dawns on me. Why?! Ugh. The gap between duck season and turkey season is already driving me crazy.

If you miss it that much just load up the decoys and go out anyway. Decoying ducks is plenty of fun with or without a gun. I'm going to take a few weeks off and then get my camera and see how many I can decoy!!

I guess that's the difference between a hunter and a birdwatcher.

JK. I always enjoy your photos/videos of post-season waterfowl. Just glad there is someone else to do it, cause I'm sure not going to all that trouble....

Ive been working on a corny home video about the depression I feel when duck season ends. Here's the trailer for the movie. The movie should be complete in week or so.
