Depends on if im targeting them or just using them for a little change in the spread.

Usually just set them in groups of 2-3 and mix them in with the mallards. To be honest they are not needed. Goose deeks a few mallards and mojos is all thats needed to wack um.

If im targeting pintails, we usually put six of them a bit out front as tho they just landed and are walking in to the rest to feed.

Alright thanks guys. No im not targeting them. Never seen one in Iowa were i hunt (dream bird). Just got 15 avalable and no full bodys so i figured they would help with visibilty along with the 9 snow decoys i plan on using (never seen more than a dozen of them either). Maybe next year i will get some fullbodys. As for now it is a floaters on the ground with 3 spinners.
