Repainting Feather Flex Decoys ?

Postby Citori16 » Sat Nov 13, 2004 9:54 pm

Found some old Feather Flex foam shells in snow goose and want to change them to Cans. What brand of paint should I use?...I know that some paint will eat the foam but not sure where to start :help:
Did you say woodcock or woodduck?

The problem whith them is bonding the paint to them being they are so flexible. Try a fast drying paint like Krylon. Wally World carries it. For white, use white primer, same as for the grey back. For black use camo flat black. For the head rusty metal primer is about the right color. Probably the camo brown and tan for the hens.
