triple bearded bird

Postby Pete-pec » Fri Apr 27, 2012 8:43 am

Of course everyone has seen a beard mounted in the empty shotgun shell, but I had to try and figure out how to display all three beards of this particular bird, and try to keep the shape they were found as they were on the bird's breast. I simply drilled a hole in the plastic of the empty as well as the brass of the shell. Pretty close to the way it was on the original bird, and in my opinion a unique way to show off multiple bearded birds.

Thanks guys. If you stuffed all three beards inside the empty shot shell, you wouldn't see there were three. This wad a friend's 14 year old daughter's first tom. It was a great first bird, and it needed to be shown off.
