itchin to buy a new gun.... ar-15?

Postby jjohnson_714 » Thu May 25, 2006 11:39 pm

ok so the bug has got me again... even though i can probably talk myself out of it, i was wondering how to pick out a good ar... ive looked and there are like a zillion different models out there that look exactly the same, but they have like one model number or letter that is different... can anyone help me decipher what is good/bad, or are they all the same... all i have figured out so far is that the a3 has a removable handle and the a2 has a fixed one as far as bushmasters go... but even then, there are a bunch of different models...

also are these good prices on here?

Try DPMS rifles. They have a website and their inventory speaks for itself. The varmint 24 would be a nice gun to have.

Stay away from Bushmaster or Colt....the same quality can be found at olympic or rock river arms...but you pay a premium for the name.
Lord......let me be as good a hunter as my dog thinks I am....amen
