I got lucky and was drawn for a Bull Elk Firearm tag Week 1 this year! To say I'm stoked is an understatement :sniper: :grooving:

Dad got drawn for a firearm tag last year. I got to go with him one day and we heard a few up in the hills but we never did see one. He saw some later in the week but never did get one. His hunt was later in the season, sometime in mid December. He still had a good time though. Good luck-

My buddie's dad was drawn for bull firearm last year... Managed to shoot a small 4x4 I think, but he didn't want to pass up an opportunity and then not shoot one... Good luck Sean, you lucky SOB

I will probably shoot the first legal bull I get a shot at, if I'm fortunate to have the opportunity. Plus, I don't have a place for a 320" Elk in my house.

Bet you could find someone that wouldn't mind to let you hang it in their garage for safe keeping until you found a better place. I'll offer my living room wall at no cost to you

Here he is! A nice 7x7! Not a monster but he is at the taxidermist regardless!

That's awesome, congrats Space... I'm going to Colorado the end of this month for their 3rd rifle season for elk. I can't wait!

In 3 years my name will be back in the pot for a bull. In the meantime I guess I will put $10 in for a cow rifle tag.

Awesome bull man. I think about elk hunting one thousand times a day.

That Kentucky herd is really an amazing story.

Wisconsin started their herd the same year. this spring, after calving, we have 182 elk. Minus the bull the indians just plugged in retaliation for the upcoming wolf season.
