Postby greenhoodedwoodteal » Wed May 09, 2012 2:03 pm

:help: Me and a group of buddies are getting a huntin group together and are going to try and get some footage but first we need a camera. i've been looking around and cant decide what to get. im trying to stay away from the gopro and i-kams just for the fact theres no zoom and what not, im looking for something with clear video and a microphone thats actually visible on the camera. pretty much an all around good camera for around 6-800, im trying not to break 1g if possible, let me know what u guys think. any ideas?

I know nothing of video cameras except that you should check Amazon.com's new prices before buying used through the classifieds.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.

I've got a Sony, hdrcx7. It's a hard drive camera, high definition. It takes awesome video. Only thing I don't like is the format, its avchd. It has to be converted to dvd format or u can only watch it on blue ray. U can buy external mics for just about any of em.
