I have an 09 Chevy 1500 wanting to upgrade my headlights and fog lights. Want bright white beam and good coverage on the road. Do the LED replacement bulbs do as good as the HID lights?

The short answer is no. The actual housing (lens, projector, etc) makes as much if not more of a difference than the bulb does.

LED's dont produce near the amount of light that an HID bulb does.... I have 6000k HID's for lo beams and fogs and i rarely use my high beams any more. had LED head lights all for about. 2 days.
