if she shaves it all the way, count me in. I'll post a pic and won't think twice.

my mother battled breast cancer, and 3 weeks into chemo, her scalp was so painful she HAD to shave. hope it doesn't get to that point for your girl.

Thanks jehler. If his hair is that long it sounds like you need to twist his arm anyways.

I will gladly shave the beard that I have been growing for months due to being off work courtesy of a drunk driver. My wife b*****s about it every day and I wont get rid of it, but for your girl I'd be more then happy to. And I'd be more then happy to take the top off as well. Prayers to her and your family.

Shave her Head?

Postby steve-o » Wed Jul 11, 2012 9:15 pm

She is tougher than me tripod!

Snake, I think everyone else that has promised to shave their dome is going to wait for her to do it . At the rate of hair loss I don't think it will be long. She ended up deciding to go with the pixie cut for herself and a Mohawk for me.

I shaved my head 5 years ago for a friend with cancer and it is still that way so I am already there. If I were you I wouId do two things. I would sit her down and shave her head, I would then have her shave mine to show solidarity. My families prayers will be going out for your daughter and family.

Let her shave it and donate what you cut off to locks of love. They make wigs for cancer patients.

I think you have to have a 12" ponytail before you can donate it.

I hope it doesn't get that bad steve, but if it does mine will be gone. What little is there anyway, I only keep about 1/4" of hair and can't stand it past 1/2". I really hope she keeps it though. I honestly didn't think she cut her hair in her picture, and the haircut she has looks good. I really couldn't tell she was losing hair.

I'm the same way. But it's been 2 weeks for me. I'm letting it grow till Steve says its time to shave. My hair hasn't been this long in a year probably.
