Hey guys, I was wondering if any of you knew any good trainers within an hour of South Bend, IN?

Thanks Jake

Give Josh Ward a call. He is a very accomplished trainer just east of Indy.
Operetrievers.com is his site.

There are quite a few, Abby Eash at http://www.trinityoaklabs.com/ I believe she is a little over an hour east of you. I have heard very good reviews about her. Bill Cox of Labradors Unlimited is in Valpo, he about an hour the other way. As stated above Josh Ward is an impressive trainer that I have had the opportunity to watch the dogs he trains work. He is a little farther away. Another great trainor I would recommend is Matt Gasaway at http://www.k9contenders.com/trainers/view/matt-gasaway. Again a little farther being from the Muncie area. Good luck and have fun. I know Abby Eash has openings after the first of the year.

Another + for Josh Ward. A good dude and probably one of the best trainers that you will find. He's a little further from the SB area.

Another + for Abby Eash too. She's great and knows her stuff. I'm actually picking up my new puppy from her in 11 more days. She would be about an hour from you.

I cannot say enough good things about Matt Gasaway of River Bottom Retrievers. He has had my dog for most of the summer, and the changes are awesome. Great guy and great trainer.
