Predator's and the heat

In my mind, predator's are hunting at night in all this heat. However, Sunday at around 3:00 pm I saw a huge coyote WALKING across the road and into the ditch. Then today I saw one of the only 3 red fox I've ever seen around here. I saw one on the side of the road dead, one in my trap  (now in my living room) and one today walking into the woods around 6:30 pm. That is all bass ackwards of what it seems like it should be.

We hunt them ALL year long. Hot or cold. Any given day could be your best or worst...
You got to get out and try. We have shot LOTS of coyote's in mid day July/August. Granted the later/earlier you hunt in the day your odds may be a bit better. PS keep a look out for snakes there looking for shade and are under that brush your hiden in. :grooving:
