Opening day

Postby WhiteRiverguy » Tue Nov 23, 2004 12:07 pm

Opening day for my bunch was better than expected... Didn't get many groups of mallards, but lots of gadwall and tons of teal. Altogether 4 of us took 11 teal and 8 gadwall. Just waiting on some snow up north to push some greenheads down now!

We did pretty good on the opener. 3 limits (15 greenwings, a hen redhead, a hen bluebill and a hen gadwall) by 8 and then I called another group of friends that were hunting 1/8 mile away and had them come shoot the blind. They had 10 greenwingers when they ran out of shells.
