thats a good looking pintail. I like the mount. Are those your personal fish. There nice.

From your question about catching any big ones on the other post. I had enough bluegill and crappie for a meal of 4 thats all we were looking for. lost a carp on an ultra light that almost took me into the river. I was standing on the logs we were fishing around and didn't expect it.
Have you ever woke up one day and said. Damn when does the season start.

Thanks! Yes, these are my personal fish.

Seems like you had a blast fishing. Outstanding job if you could feed four persons with your catch.

I went up to the white mountains (Pinetop/Lakeside, A-1 Lake)a couple of weeks ago and caught my share of rainbows, kind of small but enough to feed the family as well.

I need more time to get up to the mountains to fish. I have found a couple catch and release streams that are so beautiful to fish it is almost scary.

I hear your bass on the Colorado get big. I may have to try it once I got a boat to my name.

That is so true! We have plenty of lunkers down here. Come on down if you ever get the chance.

Welcome,

Mexican duck lives out in Yuma I believe. The Colorado River can be a productive area for ducks. There are a lot of places to try. Look for water and put a lot of miles on the truck. What part of the state are you in that would help give you direction.
