scaffold duck blind

just wanted to give everyone thats builds a blind in the water every year an idea to think about , buy one two or three sets of scaffolding from a rental company or a construction auction, they can be bought for very little, just put the scaffolding in the water you hunt in and drive metal posts into the ground to a depth that suits the water/weather condtions that your blind will have to withstand then bolt them to the scaffold legs. buy 3 scaffold decks, place them at which ever height you desire and build your blind arounnd that. you may also want to drive to poles into the ground on a 45 degree anlgle opposite of which ever way you get the heaviest winds out of . my brothers boss had him build one for him behind his house in lake st.clair last year and it withstood every big storm we had. its also easy to take down at the end of the year and you can use it basically forever. just an idea for you guys. it works well for all kinds of situations from 12" marsh water to 4',6',or 8' of water.
