YUP!!! Shoot'm

Sage grouse

I think eventually there going on the endangered list. Our Fish and game commission ( made up of all ranchers) have been fighting it but I think the feds will win this one. SO!

I'm going to hunt them as often as I can this year... I want to get a BIG tom and a hen to mount. Have them mounted like there hanging from a corner post barbed wire fence with a couple of spent paper case shotgun shells and a peace of sage brush!!! Wouldn't that be a conversation peace, ( the wife already says NO!).

In a den ,if I had one, next to my Elk head, thats in the basement stair well, and my soon to be Wolf. Can you say MAN cave!!!

Going to dedicate a day to chasing Sage Grouse on my trip to Mt this year, for the reasons you listed, I also think they will eventually be put on the list. Hopefully we can find a few of them this year.

WELL
How did you do ? We went and did VERY well.
Three of us we each took a possession limit of Sage hen and sharptail.
Thats 4 Sage and 8 sharps. EACH
We also got 6 Huns,( partridge) no doves.
Better hunting than I have seen in years.
