Here are some pics for ya. These are the hunts I will remember most. Some are of kids on successful hunts. Others are of good friends. Every one of these hunts I saw "the look" out of either new hunters or guys experiencing our way of hunting GE's for the first time. You know the look.....it's priceless and ya know they are gonna be back for more :salude: The ones of my son are my favorite......this was the first year he really started understanding what waterfowling is all about. He even went out with us once with a fever. He begged and begged.....and against mothers advice......I loaded him up with Tylenol and we took him on an afternoon hunt. He was a real trooper.......I later found out that he had strep throat. Not the smartest thing I have ever done as a father.......but in some sick way.......it made me proud of him that he could do it

justakiller,

I know those two guys in those pics. I have hunted with them once...probably in that same spot. Either one would surely give you the shirt off their back once they get to know you.

Glad you got to hunt with them and glad that last season hunting really clicked for you.

Jake and I are getting all geared up for the season. We still have some decoy cleaning and flocking to finish up on and a few more purchases to make for added motion in the spread. The picture is from the opener last year. We got into some birds, had alot of fun, and hope for a repeat. Image

Idahofowlweather, I am thinking its from the same litter. That dog has the drive just like yours.. Can't wait to get back out after them. Is the big dezel ready to roar??? How is coot coming? Is she carring yet? I talked with my buddy in Oregon and he is breeding lucy.. He expects her to be carring very soon.

Later cootkilla!!!!!
