Just got back and man did we have a good time. This geese seemed to be a little thin this year but the ducks were abundant. We had 1 hunt where 9 of us killed 72 ducks in 48 minutes. I will post more pictures later.

Seems to be an abundance of hens, but these birds are not fully out of their summer molt. That is a big downside of hunting early, but some poeple prefer the early season. I can't blame those guys too much, but it is unusual in this day.

Didn't get to make the trip this year due to scheduling issues, but have already booked with an outfitter to go next season. Going the first week of October due to the early September trips i've been up on the color just wasnt in the birds yet. Hope early October the birds will still be there and the color will be there also. Always went into Maintoba in the past, but going to Saskatchewan fall 2013. Those are some awesome pics!!
