I could never get an accurate load out of my 243 so I sold it but really liked the rifle and the light recoil. Was looking at them again for varmints but am on the fence between the 243 and the 7mm-08. both are good dual purpose rifles and both are easy on the shoulder. When I make up my mind I will try the 4007 SSC powder being that it is good for use in both rounds.

Just because they came out in 1914 does not mean anything, does it?
I have to agee that the 6mm is a heck of a round from anything from mice up to deer sized animals
and a GREAT rifle for the wife and kids inthe family,if they shoot or hunt.

and just flat out shoots all the other weights and styles.
Naturally the type of powder or primer might have some thing to do with this but it sure is nice, if you
find this "Super load" that..................
puts all those bullets into a little teeny weeny hole !!
Like the picture above........... that's a keeper.
