I just reread the old man and the boy(the old man's boy grows older) by Robert Ruark.
He describes a hunting trip he did with his grandfather when he was a boy. A beautiful tale of waterfowl hunting, fishing, Jambalaya, oysters and clams.
I have some fine duck hunting here in Holland but that tale makes me wanna come over there and try my hand at some Cajun style hunting? Especially as I've still got my first pintail drake to shoot!
Where would you guys recommend me to go?
I love my girlfriend almost as much as my dog... almost.

Speak to Rick Hall at Doug's(Rick posts here regularly). I have not hunted with him but he comes highly recommended. If a pintail is on your bucket list, he is in a GREAT area.
