Repainting Decoys

im wanting to repaint some decoys but dont know whats the best paint to use. Anybody got in advice?

i am about to paint some mallard decoys into bluebills and i'm going to go to lowes and find the cheapest paint they have i figue it should last at least a couple seasons i'll let you know how it turns out and what i use

On this same site, look under, Do It Yourself, forum, all the information you need is right there. Theses guys made their's look better than any you can buy.

I did mine and I think they look really good, takes time but for a total of $180 I painted 100 decoys. That includes buying the decoys. Depends on how you do it what species and primer. I did not use primer but did on my bluebells will see how they differ. If you want I can tell you how in did mine and the about cost.Image
