Looking for someone to come hunting with me in the austin area. I hunt the Colorado River and Lake Belton and Still House.
Have had alot of success this year so far, just looking for someone to go out with so we can kill more birds. Let me know if you wanna hunt. You can send me a email Zgfergbmt@gmail.com or cell phone 4096790407

I like shooting mallards, but get plenty of mottled ducks, gaddys, teal, pintail and other puddlers. My favorite duck is a Pintail or Wigeon. It is almost impossible to tell the difference in puddlers, but I can tell you that Teal definitely taste the best. Also, I feed people redheads and canvasbacks all the time and they can't tell the difference. Finally, the best tasting duck out there is the blackbellied whistling duck. The legs taste like quail when soaked in Italian dressing and grilled. What's weird is that the legs are lighter than the breast. The breast on a whistler is some tender meat and you can easily push your finger through it with little effort. If I had to pick, a black bellied whistler is the best tasting duck out of all of them.
