A Limit!

Of black ducks :hi:

Downsized the spread this AM to 2 drake mallards, a black, and a mojo as I only had about a half hour to hunt. I was determined to get a duck before this weekend.

Got set up with 15 minutes to go, not that I could see when the time came anyway. 20 minutes in, a single black came right into me. First black I have ever taken in this particular spot, and I do not normally get many to begin with, so it was a nice treat.

There's hope of rthose of us thinking of 'squeezing in' a few minutes before work. Thanks for sharing!
It's better on the water.

Thanks

If I would have had any luck on the opening evening, I probably would have skipped the morning 30-40 min hunts. But it ended up being worth it.

Looking forward to the weekend. One spot I have is great when it is showers, as predicted.

Get'er done! Congrats man, nice duck! :hammer:
Give a man a duck... Feed him for a day... Teach him to fowl hunt... Feed him for a lifetime...Teach him in your spot... Learn to hunt a different spot....
