We have found a lot of ducks at a particluar location in east central Ohio. It's on public waters so we are heading out EARLY to get our spot. I am just now getting off work so I doubt I sleep much, if any myself!!! Good luck. We had groups of mallards, blue wing teal, black ducks and woodies in there the last few days!! Got it scouted out pretty good.

I happen to know Mike had a pretty good opener! Pics!

We got none - pumped some water in the Plond but we're sitting in a dry wetland so not many birds around. Had 3 woodies buzz it early but kept going. 2 more buzzed behind us but didn't slow down. Worked two mallards over from their pattern, they looked and looked wanting to commit but eventually moved on to where they had planned on going. That was it!

Let's hope for a nice wet November!

After doing my homework and putting in lots of time in the offseason I was rewarded with 3 woodies and a mallard on Saturday. It was my first wood duck and first mallard I have ever harvested. Cooking one up for dinner tonight!

My buddy added 2 woodies to finish the opening morning with 5 woodies and 1 mallard.

:clapping: From what I've read you and Craxty are doing things right. Its great to see folks come in and do due dilligence and be rewarded for it. I hope you both have a great season.

We ended up killing 6 woodies (5 drakes and one hen) 2 drake mallards and 1 gadwall. We had a small group of blue wing teal come into our decoys but we had already shot our two man limit of woodies and at first we thought the teal were woodies, by the time we realized they weren't those little suckers were out of there. We saw a TON of ducks and there was another group hunting a few hundred yards up the bay from us that were doing a fair amout of shooting as well.
