Is everyone ready for next Friday? I repainted my mallard drakes this year, they look great.

I repainted a bunch of old mallard water keels into a new flock of Black ducks.
They look awesome too !!!

Scheduled to work but gonna try and change that. Its gonna be a mad house out there!

Sitting on ready, looked at the work schedule and some how i'm off opening day now I gotta decide where to go. I know it will involve water but thats about it.

how'd everyone make out today? I didn't make due to work schedule changing up. A few i talked to didn't see a whole lot. I was planning on going monday but this storm has my plans screwed up.

plenty of wood ducks, could have shot as many as we wanted. Went yesterday evening to another spot that I am taking my son and his buddy, I just sat there and glassed the area with a nice cold beverage, saw 10 woodies coming in for roost. Should be able to get them some shooting in a little bit. They want to go out now!! Good luck to all today.

Only had 5 woodies come by in the am. 3 came in first, boys shot, all 3 left. 2 came in, boys shot 2 left. They had fun though.
