Went scouting today and saw swans, widgen, gadwall, blacks, mallards, ring necks , buffies, gwt and even a few pintails. I think the migration got kicked into gear with this storm. I'm excited for Monday

Could just be the initial push, not enough ice up North to really get them headed South, I will be out regardless.

We will see, not near enough ice to make the X small enough, but I will go out scouting this week end to line them all up, hopefully. Think this is just a first push and a tease, but new birds none the less, time to capitalize  Good luck

We need some really cold nights to get the migration really started. But there looks to be enough birds around for a couple good hunts. Waiting for the weekend to scout though hopefully the get more of the storm debris cleaned up by then

I am too, not wasting my time looking until SAT/SUN, even then, it will be RECON by fire come Monday, but got a line on a nice group of scoters and ringnecks with the other puddlers.
