it has arrived!im like a kid on christmas just opening the package up. the pictures do not do this decoy justice at all. im not sure why my pics are sideways, i apologize. unfortunately im am going to have to work through the weekend so as of right now i will not be hunting over the decoy, however, i will be getting everything setup for yall, so it works out. i may be able to sneak in a hunt monday morning before going to post office to send it to liprip'r. if not maybe i can get it back later in the season if theres an open spot.

We had a fantastic hunt over it Saturday Morn. 2 boys (15 & 11) each got their first Waterfowl, 1 got a Canada Goose and the other got a Drake Mallard! Hunt took place in Randolph Co. I've logged the hunt but the pics are on the boys mother's camera, so she is gonna email them to me when she gets back to their home in Florida. I can forward them to you B.Hud to add later to the jump drive if you want.

I've got it packed up ready to go....Bigswole, PM me your address & I'll get it out today.

I recieved the decoy yesterday with 1000 sheets of bubble wrap!!

Decoy looks stunning!

Almost shouldnt touch water lol.

Im going to try my best to shoot some birds over it, hopefully we can get some geese to cooperate. After the first 2 guys had it i have some shoes to fill!! They have been killing some so i dont want to break the chain!!

Well we shot horrible. Missed gimmie shots. Sent the dog to retrieve a downed bird and bam it up amd flys away. Happened twice. Dog didnt quite understand it lol.

Still ended up with 4, 2 hooded mergansers and 2 gw teal. The geese flew 3 mins at lst. Thought we had a group of twenty going to commit but last second they changed their mind.

It was a hot morning, no wind. Hopefully everywhere 50 miles north of me will freeze up in like an ice age tonight!!!

Hopefully tomorrow will be better

Well this morning was a bust!

We did get the 1 duck who came to the decoys though. Had 2 come in range but neither were looking to land. A very slow morning and hot at that. Even with the light drizzle and overcast skies.

No pictures of this duck, it was a little mangled. It came in locked up trying to land in our laps, we were setup between the ducks and geese and apparantly that duck had to be in the blind as well. My buddy stoned him before he could attack us.

Hope the rambler brings yall some birds. I broke the goose chain though. I believe someone set up on the roost and busyed them out because they came over our blind at 620 this morning. And never returned.
