I am south of you in Lake Erie, we had a bunch of bluebills here a few weeks ago but they were no where to be found last weekend. Hoping for some new birds this week.

Thanks don't get out to hunt as much as I'd like too, but I was like a little kid on Christmas when I shot that can!

Great Lakes Divers

Postby g_maxson » Thu Nov 15, 2012 6:28 pm

Have hunted 14 days and limited all but one. On the no limit day we had a long drive home on Sunday so pulled the plug at 4 in my bag and 11 in the boat to get home.

You hunting from a boat or blind, just need an over cast day for the diver to it moving like last weekend.

Me and quack wackr today , due to the fog and kids was limited to about 30 minutes of shooting... Seen thousands of swans while packing up.

Finally got some weather yesterday and the Bill's cooperated. Layout in Presque Isle Bay (Erie, Pa.) steady shooting all day with a couple of lulls here and their. Lets just say it wasn't a good day to be a duck..........

Good to hear man things seem to be in full swing on lake at Clair now, seeing ringnecks cans bluebills buffies and a few goldeneyes. Hunting has been good for the month of November, and should only get better until the end of the season which is a little over a month away for us
