Killed this hybrid this morning I think it might be a mallard and pintail mix

Im no biologist but I dont see the green speculum that drake pintails normally have in that pic. Just a standard blue mallard hue to it hidden under the darker feathers. My opinion is it is just a farm/city duck mixed with a mallard. I could be wrong and you might have a very cool hybrid though
does having multiple screen names on a forum and having a conversation with yourself make you an extra special rock star hunter?

Is this you? http://utahwildlife.net/forum/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=45964
Weird that we would see this within the exact same time and same duck. That is a "Bibbed Domestic Mallard." It's what happens when a wild mallard breeds usually with a Pekin duck. They are a really neat duck. The only ones I've seen were at a park but they were domestic, as in they were huge and could not fly. I would consider that a trophy if it was flying in the wild. It's not a tame one. I'd put it on the wall for sure.

That is not Zee, but I agree. That bird should be on the wall!
