Stakes into bases

Postby renegadeduck » Thu Nov 15, 2012 10:19 am

I got some Higdon Wobblers which look amazing but they came with stakes. when the ground freezes is there any easy way to push them in the ground without drilling or hammering them in?

I also considered making a base for em instead of the stake. maybe something the steak slides into?

Whats your guys experience with stakes when the ground freezes up.

Try driving a separate stake into the ground then putting the decoy stakes in the hole. i have used this when feel hunting ducks.
