Ahhhh, didn't know there was a non waterfowl section. Sorry about that! Is there any way to move it?

GeauxTigers, welcome up ( I assume). Not very often we get some Louisiana boys in Kansas. I'm a big time LSU fan and am originally from Houma. Hope they can put you on a big one. Geaux Tigers, Beat Ole Piss!

Thanks! I'm not up there yet. Had to stop and spend the night in Denton Texas last night. Got another 7 and a half hours today.
Alright, cool. You were farther south than me, I'm from Mandeville
Thanks! I'm hoping I can get a good one, it'll be my first buck

Heading to Kansas for the week

Postby Geauxtigers1421 » Sat Nov 17, 2012 11:03 am

Got to the camp at around 5:30 yesterday and unpacked everything. Another one of the guys staying shot a good 8 point yesterday evening.
Made my first hunt this morning. Saw one doe right at shooting light. Waited to see if a buck was on her trail but saw nothing else. Wind was blowing pretty strong at 30mph so I'm hoping this evening goes better!

Was down in SE Kansas this weekend. Talked to two nice guys from Louisiana up here for deer. Didn't know Kansas was a popular destination for our Cajon brothers.
Good luck taking a Kansas deer, hope it's a big 'un.
