SE Opener

Postby Quakerattacker » Thu Nov 15, 2012 7:50 pm

Weather sure could have been better, I did see enough birds but for some reason the pond in the next section must have been a lot more inviting. Last year we did fine and the conditions are pretty much the same. It didn't help that the public wildlife area had shooting time 15 minutes on their board and they really lit it up. So instead of stuff running for its life at legal shooting time birds came out before legal shooting time. Oh and there was ice on the pond on opening morning????? Have never had that happen before. Oh well its open and I got to shoot my gun. Trying a different place Saturday hope for a lot better results.

The SE zone opener was worth waiting for . Great weather, lots of ducks and not another hunter within 400 yds . The pic is of my friend Curtis`s dog and his birds .

I hunted some public land and there was just no ducks around or water. I did a litter scouting, and seen like 20 on a pond.
I like your layout boat doors that nice. I need something like that
