This might sound funny but I'm raised in Central Kentucky, Lexington area, and I've been duck hunting for several years but never in Kentucky. I've always hunted Southern Illinois but have since lost my contact and no longer hunt there. I went all last year without killing a duck and had major withdrawals! I've visited several of the nearby lakes (Taylorsville, Cedar Creek, Kentucky River) to scout but haven't had any luck. I have no boat, only a canoe but I don't feel safe in one with waders. In your opinion which lake is best for walking in? I'm not asking for honey holes I'm just looking for advice. I don't care if you send me somewhere and I don't kill any thing. I just need a place to start and hopefully be successful, then I'll find the honey holes from there. Thanks for the help.
