My friend and I want to build up our snow goose spread. So do you think that I should get a dozen shells for 120 bucks, or should I get 50 sillosocks that I have to paint the feathers for 150 bucks.
Also my friend already has 2 1/2 dozen shells and full bodies.

Check out the reel rags on Rogers look like they would work as well as sillosocks just cheaper. I started a thread with the link to them. I'm probably gonna buy some to try
Red neck engineering- If ya can't fix it with duck tape, bailing wire, zip ties, and JB weld well than it can't be fixed.
If it moves and it aint suppose to duck tape it. If doesn't move and its suppose to put WD-40 on it.

If you placed 50 sillosocks next to 12 shells you would probably see why most folks would recommend the sillosocks. They offer greater visibility and movement.
