Looking at photos i had forgot we had harvested a Ross during the first split. Is this common for this area?

Yes, they were very rare here when I moved here in '83, but I'd guess they're as common in SWLA now as anywhere.
If you think I'm wrong, you might be right.

They are also very common here in NE La. We always kill more specks but if you get into some snows there is usually several ross mixed in.

I hunted rice fields on and off from the late 70's to mid 80's and didn't remember shooting any Ross. Hunted the marsh from then on and for the last 2 seasons hunting rice field again so the opportunity for gesse has returned. I was curious THANKS!!!
