Most are too far away in my opinion. Zoom in on those birds. Concentrate on a few landing or flying etc. A little blurry, but nonetheless they are better than any photo I have taken. Send them in. You won't know if you don't try.

That last pic of the Drake Mallard have a gps unit on it or is that a piece of heavy mono fishing line stuck in it?

Try to take pics in a country setting or crop out the city residential park background. Like the other guys said try to get closer and use a tripod, sometimes you can use a monopod. You have to use a lens greater than a 300mm and most publishers are asking you what camera as they want pics taken with more than 12 megapixels.

Great wigeon pics. What kind of lens are you using? I agree with the other guys on the adjustment of shutter speed. Also, what kind of camera body do you have? Reason I ask is I'm curious about it's ISO range, which could be another reason your photos have some noise in them. Cropping will also produce that. The tripod would be your best friend, and next I would shoot for photos with a more "wild" setting. Power lines, fences, and school buses are photo killers. That being said, with proper composition, you can take pics of park ducks and make them look wild! Keep at it, your photos are great!
