Need some guidance

This Midwestern state holds many waterfowl species. Post here and read others views on Wisconsin duck hunting. From the mighty Mississippi river to the west to the great lake of Michigan on the east, WI has many different types of hunting available to hunters.

Hey yall im from north east iowa and looking for some good places to ice fish in southern wisconsin.
I am willing to travel for some good crappie or walleye fishing. Thanks in advance.

Better luck finding bigfoot in southern Wisconsin then ice right now :sad:

Important not talking right now. Important lookin for farther into the year
when there is safe ice. Just some public.spots that may produce some crappie

Almost any lake on the map may produce some crappie, just have to put some time in.

Wherever you go, expect crowds and a lot of work for a few fish.

check out blackhawk lake recreation area, its a man made lake that I fish in the spring and fall and we usually catch a lot of pike and bass, but when I was out there last spring I saw A LOT of crappies up shallow. so maybe it would be a place to look at. I know of a friend who pulls northerns through the ice out there every year.
