Rain

Postby gsphunter » Sat Aug 26, 2006 7:55 am

I don't believe it, it is actually raining in Missouri for more than an hour. It looks like it's in the forecast for tomorrow too.

Hopefully we can get some more so the teal have some water to hang in when they get here.

I got an inch and 9/10. Didn't add much to my ponds, but when you are 20+" behind for the year, you'll take what you get.
I'll start treating my wife as good as my dog when she starts fetching ducks.

Ya, our corn is probably going to have somthing on it this year but our beans got baked since we have hardly any rain and a week or two of 100 degree days.
If they weren’t meant to be eaten, then why are they made of meat?

I'm pretty darn happy, and know we sure could use some more. I'm probably going to have to have our food plots re-disked before we seed, but it's not a bad trade off.

I got 3" this weekend. 50 miles nortyh of me got 9.5". I wish I would have got that! My ponds came up about 2' and still have 1.5' to go. My wetland is still a dryland.
