So decided to try my luck again on some ducks Tuesday. Got setup around 930 and was ready to hunt until 3. Was just sitting there minding my own business ( and dozing off too) when I hear something behind me. It was another guy walking down and he asked if I was the only one there and I said yea. He asked if he could join me and I gladly accepted his company. He setup his dekes and we shot the shizz for a while when all of a sudden we hear some geese. He started calling (I suck at calling geese) and to our surprise they were headed our way. They locked up right into the duck dekes that I had out and he told me to call the shot. They were about 20ft away and I said killem. I lined up on the one closest to me and dumped him with my first shot. He rocked one hard also but it didn't go down. After the high fives were over I went over to grab my first ever goose. It was awesome to say the least.

Nice job, nothing like killing your first goose. I was more excited about shooting my first goose than shooting my first buck.

I just had about 10 ducks and a mojo out and he had about 2 doz or so duck dekes out. We were very surprised that they came straight for the duck dekes. We had zero goose dekes out.
