Looking to see pictures or how you made a homemade dolly for a jon boat. I have a 10 foot flatbottom that I need to build a dolly for. I was thinking of using to old wheel borrow wheels. If anyone has experience or better yet a picture it would be great.

I did it with a canoe/hybrid type boat. Use a good ol' fashion dolly and a ratchet tie down. simply put the boat into the base and wrap it with the tie down. If need be, you should be able to replace the wh.eels with more durable/rugged ones for about $15-$20

Great! That sounds like it would work well.

Buy a $50 600# dolly with 10-12 inch wheels - cut it to size, bend/cut the foot part and you have a solid & strong boat wheel set.
What duck?

i use Cabelas mag cart. tie my boat to it centered. Load the boat with gear and down the dikes we go when we get to the water just flip the whole thing upside down (cart in the boat ) and away we go stock one's can handle 500 lbs. dual wheels pack 750 but i think the mud would pack thick between them
If the ocean was made of WHISKEY and I was a DUCK I'd swim to the bottom and get all F!@#% up!
