Doesn't seem to bad in Cabot, the map looks like south of us is getting hammered though. Stay safe.

News showed a Tornado going right over where my camp is on the Ark/La state line. Hope its still there!

I am almost thinking between last year, and this year we may have a record as far as Tornado warnings. I don't remember in the 9 years that I have lived in Arkansas a Tornado warning in November, December, and January.

With today's weather radar technology a thunderstorm can be analyzed in much greater detail. Storm rotation can be seen more easily now than ever before. Tornado warnings are issued when this rotation is detected, but the storm may not be strong enough, or have the proper ingredients to produce a tornado. The storm is just "capable" of producing a tornado because of the rotation, so a warning is issued. Radar technology is the cause of increased numbers of warnings.
