new to the forums had a few questions hoping someone could answer. First off I hope everyone had a wonderful, safe, and productive season. I'm counting down the days to next year already. Ill be a rising freshmen in college next year and am just fixing up an old duck boat. Ive hunted swamps and impoudments my whole life but am just getting into big water public duck hunting. Ive been around new bern glenburnie area and shot blue bills and pretty much understand how that works and where to put in. But other places such as the new river, the cape fear river etc where is some of the easier places to put in at. ALso if your hunting from a boat blind in Pamlico co I understand you have to be 500 yards from other blinds is it hard to find open water 500 yards away from another blind? Also what is the rule on hunting towards shores or marsh can you pull up to any old marsh or shoreand throw out decoys and hunt or do they have to be game lands regulated by ncwc? Just trying to understand and have knowledge not one to put myself into a situation where I don't know and get myself a ticket. I appreciate any bits or pieces of information. Thanks in advance.
