Turkeys piss me off. They are more stubborn than ducks. Props to you and waterdogs for having patience. Couple times that I did go watched and listened to gobblers at sunlight in the roost damndest watched em as they flew down and walked off. That was my last Turkey hunt

I agree its an awesome audio, but it pisses be off because they take forever to get in range. Why can't they fly into decoys like a duck?

Its tough. But i consider turkey hunting more like deer hunting than duckhunting. It might take you many hunts to bag a nice gobbler.

You just haven't been doing it right. If you are a hunter, regardless of the hunting you are usually used to do, there is no way in hell that a gobbling strutting turkey won't get your heart rate through the roof. It is very exciting.

I've been on a couple occasions, in fact it was with ryano02, and it is exciting to hear that sound and see them, but i just never caught on. I like wingshooting and small game. That's my forte.

Took a 1 week snowboarding trip... now I'm getting back into spearfishing... too bad Grouper's no longer in season on the right coast...

also trying to get back in the good graces of the girlfriend... oh duck season... the best thing is her walking into the room while I'm on this message board and rolling her eyes...
