saw a pretty sight, ducks a grinding

Postby rikasam2013 » Sat Feb 23, 2013 9:11 am

I wish I had a video camera yesterday. I was driving way out cloverdale south of Meridian and saw a HUGE flock of ducks working a cut over cornfield. Thousands of birds in the air, as I passed by I realized there were already thousands of birds in the stubble too. This was about half hour before dark. Breed duckys breed!!! :grooving: :grooving:

Yeah, the ducks and geese were pretty active yesterday yesterday leading up to the storm. The were pretty much feeding all day as the barometer dropped (i presume) .

Fun to watch. Even more fun to sit in the middle of it.
