Spring Break Snow Goose Hunt

Postby Dr^ke » Sun Mar 03, 2013 11:00 pm

Going down with some guys from Penn State for a spring snow goose hunt with James Creek Outfitters on Tuesday the 5th. Weather is suppose to be high 40's and clear so we will see how it turns out. Suppose to be getting a storm wednesday so maybe they will be moving before the front. Anyone live down by Middle Creek and know how the numbers of geese are going? I'll give a report when we get back.

Last PGC report I saw said there were 50K. That was a few days ago. Check the PGC website or facebook page. They're good to update every day or so.

Sweet. We had looked into doing it this year, but by the time we got around to it they were all booked. I'd be interested in pics / videos once you go.

Thanks
I just pooped my pants.

I have an invite out next year to hunt in Pa with a private group, but we're planning on a guided hunt in Maryland. Del bay or Black duck seem to be the top two choices. Only problem, they're already booking next year. I need to get on this and get a date.
