Anyone got anything? It's getting quiet around here.
Any projects going on?

Still working on those LI Black duck blocks. I've finished the heads, except for some final sanding, and I have the pattern drawn in AutoCAD, so I can reproduce it as often as I need. The problem I'm having is getting white cedar stock! I can get some pretty clear red cedar, but the grain is pretty open on that stuff, and it takes a good bit of oil based paint ot seal properly. Not only haven't I been able to find any on the Island, I can't seem to find any on the internet! The guy at the lumber yard looked at me like I had four heads!

I'm working on a few new foamers that I intend to epoxy with sawdust instead of burlap...
Getting a new generator finally, I'm going with a 14kw Generac

I've been trying to catch some more of these...

...but the weather has not been very conducive. The big beaver ponds are still frozen over, but not quite solid enough to walk on. So I've been setting some creeks, not many pinch points here so it's been mostly legholds. Two and a half weeks left and I've still got two large spots to trap. Just waiting for the weather to break so that I can reasonably access them.

Hows your finger Tim? I'm going to need that epoxy soon.
Whatever happened to that grassboat you cut open in the fall?

Still apart, I have the boat builders version of "Writers Block" I suppose. Won't got bad though, I could always finish it down the line.
